Kang is originally from Rigel 7. He and his sister Kodos are continuously trying to take over Earth and are usually seen attacking Springfield even though his estranged daughter Maggie calls it home. He speaks the Rigellian language, which, by coincidence, is identical to English. Although they look identical, Kang has a deeper voice than Kodos. According to Kang on the Jerry Springer show, his hearing was advanced enough that not even being confined to a soundproof room was enough to mute out Homer and Springer's conversation before being formally introduced on stage. Kang once impersonated Bob Dole in order to become President of the United States.
Kodos Johnson, sister to Kang and native of Rigel 7, is a trans woman and active in the LGBTQ+ community throughout our local group of galaxies. Kodos loves spending her time organizing events and ensuring that anyone in the universe who wants to run has the means by which to do so. You can find Kodos at our shop in Andromeda or traveling throughout the universe to spread love and inclusivity. Kodos is proud of her Rigellian heritage and seeks to extend the richness of her culture into rural communities throughout the Milky Way and our local group. Fun fact, prior to transitioning, Kang went to summer camp with Roger the Alien from American Dad.
